I'm still around!!!

Hi Everybody,

I'm still around and yes I have been looking at everybody's lovely creations but time has just got the better of me and I still need to take things easy so thats what i've done!

Yesterday Viv and myself went off to Port Sunlight to meet up with some friends at the "Happy Stamper Show" we had a great day and I was really good and didn't end up buying everything I saw for a change! Oh yes while we were there we also bumped into another friend which we had lost touch with so that was another added bonus.

Anyway I hope that everybody is ok and it's lovely to see so many Christmas cards popping up on blogs now. Take Care and hopefully it won't be too long before i'm posting again!!!

40th Birthday Card

Well i've been really good and followed Dr's orders and rested for long enough now - So yesterday I started getting back into the swing of things by making a 40th Birthday card for my friend Alison now I just need to do my Mum's Birthday card ready for next Thursday! Hopefully that'll get done on Sunday as i'm a busy bee again tomorrow.

Good Morning - Cards at Last!

Good Morning All,

Well i've finally started getting back to normal ....... Many thanks for all the messages that I have received since coming out of hospital - i'm still taking things easy but I have managed to make a few cards and yesterday Viv and myself had a lovely day out at a friends house in Borrowash, Derby which was just what I needed as it got me back into the swing of things and I did manage to make four cards - i've still got to take pictures of them but until then there are a few that need going onto my blog which I made this week.

Hi - I'm Back Now.....

Sorry that i've not been around much just lately but last week I was rushed into hospital with a P.E. basically it's a blood clot on my lung anyway after a week in hospital - hopefully it's clear now. I'm still not in the mood to make any cards but i'm sure that'll come back soon. Just thought i'd better let you all know why i've been AWOL.

Ribbons that Dan got me!

Hiya Everybody,

I wasn't feeling 100% yesterday but my loving hubby was out in town doing a few bits and he saw a crafty stall selling wooden door stops and fridge magnets etc in the shopping centre and he even thought to buy me some ribbons ........ I've just had a look at what Craftin' Up colours that i've got and it'll work so well with that too. So Well Done Dan.

Well I really must make waves today and get into my craft room but i'm helping out at holiday club this morning and tomorrow morning so it'll not be until this afternoon / evening.

....... Back Home Now

Good Morning All,

Viv and myself were away at the weekend staying with a great friend in Basingstoke and Boy Oh Boy what a weekend we have had ...... Lots of fun & laughter and of course we just had to go to the craft show at Newbury Racecourse on Saturday but goodness me it was just sooo hot - we don't get very much nice weather so that was a bonus.

Oh well it's back to normality now and hopefully i'll get a chance to do a little crafting later, sorry for the lack of blogging over the weekend but there just wasn't enough hours in the day.

Hi, Well I have been out all day over at Viv's house from Crafting Haven and we've had a very productive day ......... Sorry......

So sorry about my serious lack of activity but I was back at hospital last Monday for my injections which are very uncomfortable for a few days but now i'm back to normal and in much less pain than I have been for a long time.

I remember that I was in a bad relationship and looking to get out of it – although it took a little longer than I anticipated - I did myself sorted and thankfully today I’m happily married.

1) I really must get cracking on some “Thank You Cards” for Lisa’s teachers as she has just left school.
2) Show willing and have a quick tidy up.
3) Food Shopping – we need to eat occasionally.
4) Get my kit bag ready for a stamping day tomorrow.

Stampin Up Party Went Well

WELL ............ I'm back guys and guess what I only spent £10:00 yes thats right TEN POUNDS only because my sales were so high (almost £400:00)
I ordered the cutie pie papers, rose red ink pad, earth elements 12x12 cardstock, (Oh so lovely stamp set - hostess gift) and something else but I cannot remember what! ............... I have just remembered I also ordered the three for you stamping set in a lovely tin.

So all in all it was a fantastic day and cannot wait for the goodies to arrive on Thursday now. To think yesterday I was worrying in case it all went wrong - silly fool I am!

Mornin' Guys,

I'm really having problems in choosing what to order from my "Stampin Up" party tomorrow - I NEED everything but funds won't allow that! Can anybody tell me what they think are the best things to go for right now ..... there are just so many nice Stamps, Ink Pads and Papers but unfortunately we have to draw the line somewhere.

Good Morning Everybody,
Sorry that i've got no cards to show today but this week has just gone no where and today i've got Viv coming which is always nice then later another friend is coming to do our hair. I've just thrown together a pasta dish for dinner so thats one thing less to contend with later.

My new circular Nestabilies finally arrived from "Cut at Home" yesterday - they took a little longer than normal because they were on back order first then I have any craft goodies delivered to Dan's parents.

Oh well thats all for now but hopefully i'll be back soon with something to show!!!

"Stampin Up" Sympathy Card

Good Morning All,
I've finally got around to using my latest "Stampin Up" papers that I got when I bought the 'Close as a Memory' stamp set. I'm definately going to order some different ones at my party next Saturday!

I doubt that i'll get any crafting done today because i'm looking after my friends little boy - it's a teacher training day today and she's a teaching assistant so has to go into work.

A Lil' Bit of What I've Been Upto.......

Hi Guys,

Phew .......... i've had quite a busy week but I've still managed to make a few cards. I may not have left many comments on blogs recently but I have been looking and WoW there are so many lovely cards being shown well done everybody.

When I can get Dan to sit down with me for 10 minutes he can show me how to use this new camera but time is very scarce right now so please be patient and i'm really sorry about the quality of the pictures.

I'm Back ............. Finally

Hi Guys,

Sorry that I haven't been around for quite a while but the headache's have been horrendous and Viv has had a friend up to stay for a week from down south so I have been over there quite alot too. Anyway hopefully i'll start getting back to my normal self now i've had a good rest.

I did manage to get one card made while i've been away from the blogs! It's a sympathy card that had to be done so I used my new "Stampin Up" sympathy stamp set. Sorry the photo doesn't do it any justice as I took the photo on my mobile phone and it the main cardstock has turned out brown but it was really green and the flower is very pale lemon.

Well thats all for today but hopefully i'll be back tomorrow - Take Care.

Hi,

Sorry I haven't been around much recently but i've been kept quite busy and the headache's are still very frequent. Yesterday I went to my very first "Stampin Up" party with Viv and yes well ....... I can feel more money being spent - never mind! I ordered some gorgeous papers and a stamp set but i'm going to have a party myself so I can get more!

Hopefully today seen as though it's raining so much I think i'll just go and hide away in my craft room so hopefully i'll have some cards to show later.

I was going to play in my craft room today but so far I haven't even opened the door - I will definately be in there tonight and tomorrow though. Good Morning

I'm back to normality now ......... I thought Saturday would have been a crafty day for me but oh no I ended up going to my friends farm and had fun feeding the lambs etc then Sunday was the Gina Martin stamping day with the Derby Dabblers we all produced some lovely cards - so hopefully i'll be able to take some decent photo's later today now that Michelle has sorted me out with the camera!

I went to bed really happy last night as I won the blog candy on Tarasdesigns ........... Yippee a new Magnolia stamp - so i'll be ready to attack the postie every morning now - Thank you so much Tara.

I'm Slowly Catching Up With Myself.......

It's been quite hectic here the last few days (painting Lisa's bedroom) - I just don't know where the time goes but I have finally managed to get my act together and snatch 5 minutes to post on my blog.

I did manage to get the day to myself on Tuesday .......... I went to Viv's for the day followed by a lovely evening at a local garden centre where Andrea was doing a card making class - hopefully we'll be able go every week now.
