I'm Back - As Promised

Hi Guys,

Well I thought i'd come on early and strike while the going's good! So sorry i've not been around much but the Dr has been altering my meds and at first it was horrendous being sick every few minutes but now we've got it sorted that I just feel sick which is better although not great but thank goodness the the new meds are helping the pain.

Anyway i'd better try and find a few cards to show you - So here goes!

Cards for Men Challenge

I've finally got around to posting on my blog and i've managed to come up with something for the cards for men challenge and it's also going to be my Dad's Birthday Card.

A Busy Week!

Hi All,

Well sorry i'm afraid I haven't done anything to show you all this week as i've been really busy with my Birthday and getting ready to go away to Hampshire for a few days. Also Lisa my daughter has been very busy trying to revise for exams at college this week BUT we did get some very exciting news yesterday she has been chosen to go to a Graden Party at Buckingham Palace on the 22nd July 2010. There are only four girls in The Girls Brigade England & Wales going so she has obviously done something exceptional which is a great honour.

Well I think it's time to start packing my bag ready to leave tomorrow morning (Hopefully the snow will stay away now!!!) Take Care Everybody and i'll catch up again on Tuesday.

Another Card.....

Good Morning My Friends,

Gosh I cannot believe it has been a whole month since I last posted a card but I have had this rotten cold that has been doing the rounds and it really does knock you for six!

Anyway i've made a card now so hopefully i'll soon get back into crafting mode! Better still next week myself and Viv are off to Basingstoke for a few days to see one of our lovely friends and also we'll be going to the "Make It Show" at Farnborough so all in all it will definately be a great few days.

1st Card of 2010

Good Morning All,

Well on Tuesday I finally got around to making a card. The last week hasn't been easy for anybody with heavy snow all over the UK but hopefully it is starting to let up for a while now! On top of that i've had my daughter at home not being able to get into college because of the weather and to make matters even worse Dan has had to give in and take some sick leave from work (which he hates doing!) he's got a chest infection - and we all know what it's like when men get sick!!!

Anyway I hope that you like my latest creation and i'm hoping to get something else produced today.

New Year - New Me (Hopefully!)

Good Morning Guys,

Yes I know it has been so long since I last did any blogging but with Christmas and other things I just seemed to lose the plot!

Today my intentions are to wade my way into my craft room and tidy it up a little then hopefully i'll be able to make a start on Birthday cards for this month.

I have been trying to keep up with all your blogs and hopefully now all the festivities are over I'll be able to concentrate even better.

Good Morning All.......

Good Morning My Friends,

Sorry I haven't got any cards to share as this week has been a hectic one to say the least! First I had to have a tooth extracted on Monday then Dan broke down on his bike on Wednesday so i've been ferrying him to work etc. In between i've been getting things preparred for this week as i'm going away later this morning to Burnham on Sea with Viv, Sandra, Jackie and Issy so even if the weather isn't good we'll at least be able to do some crafting but good weather would be a bonus!

Oh well that's all for now folks but hopefully it won't be too long before I can log on again and let you know how the holiday is going. Take care and have a great week.

Well this weekend while i've been nursing toothache I managed to make three "less is more" cards but none of them are my own brain work and so credit must go to Di and Michelle for their wonderful inspiration.

Don't even comment on the very poor photographs - but it really was an effort for me! Now i'm just waiting for the dental surgery to open at 9:00am!

Well I bet you can't believe it - i'm posting again so soon ... although I have missed posting the last day or two!

I've spent the day over at Viv's house today but the trouble is we never seem to get much crafting done - I did manage one card today though and that is more than Viv did!!!

Ok i'll finish here and let you see what i've been upto the last couple of days the first card is the one that I made today. ;-))

I'm still here!

Hi Guys,

So sorry that i've not been around much lately but the reason I haven't done much crafting is because I had to have an abcess removed surgically and then the district nurses were coming in most days to dress my wound.

Anyway hopefully now i'm back to normal now (well as normal as possible!) and hopefully i'll be able to catch up in my craft room I have only been making cards that I was needing desparately - but now i'm starting to panic as Christmas will soon be upon us again and upto now I haven't made a single card!

I hope you like the few cards that I have made and hopefully there will soon be many more to follow.

I've got an Award......

Hi Guys,

I've got up so happy this morning even if it is raining and miserable!!! Last night I went swimming with my friend and I was thinking "if I can manage 5 lengths of the pool then that'll be good" but no I kept going and she told me when we had finished 40 minutes later that i'd done 20 lengths - I was really chuffed with myself and hopefully it'll slowly but surely start to help me as I am starting to feel like my whole body is ceasing up. Then I came downstairs this morning and the lovely Jackie from Craft Designs has given me an award ........... Thank you Jackie and you have made me very happy.

Good Evening My Friends....

I have kept myself quite busy today, household chores this morning then this afternoon I needed to make two New Home cards and then I even managed to visit my friend - so pleased I did too as she had just made some delicious fruit scones so we had tea and scones out in her lovely garden.

Good Afternoon All.....

...........From a seriously bad blogger - i'm really sorry guys but the last three months have been taken up with builders, joiners and decorators. Thank goodness by Friday we are hoping that everything will be completed and my back will start to feel better too hopefully.

I have managed to make a couple of cards so at least I haven't been totally lazy!!!

Time To Post .......... FINALLY!!!

Good Morning All,

Firstly I apologise for not posting much just recently but we had had the builders in at home and i'm sure that you all know what it's like - not a single room stays clean and tidy!

I also have to confess that I have only made ONE CARD in the last month ........ So hopefully i'll be able to make up for this very soon as today I am determined to make a start and find a way into my craft room.
